The Portland area Spring art show season kicks off with Celebration of Creativity FINE ART EXHIBIT & SALE which is happening February 29th through March 3rd. We hope you’ll save the date and make plans to attend as three of our WOW! artists participating in this classy and exclusive event. Juried into this fine show are Nola Pear, Jacie Pearson, and Angela Wrahtz.
If you haven’t heard about this art show, here’s some background information. It takes place in the Southminster Presbyterian Church on 12250 SW Denney Road in Beaverton. It’s a great space and will be configured to display to perfection the best of art that the Portland area has to offer—everything from wall art and art cards, to sculpture and glasswork, jewelry, garden art, and giftware. There’s something for everyone whether you want to just look or if you want to buy a gift for family or friends. Won’t be long and it will be Mother’s Day…

Opening Night on Thursday, February 29th, goes from 7-9 pm and there will be music by Jazz Duo Blackburn& Duthle, and it’s a great time to meet the artists and find inspiration in the current work of some of Portland’s best artists.
WOW! is looking forward to sharing more information about art shows in our area that are of interest to our members. There are many opportunities for you to see art and become inspired as well as for you to apply and enter so that your own beautiful work may be seen.
