"The artists from WOW! represent
a diversity of viewpoints
but share a passion
about their paintings,
finding purpose in art
that is unapologetically beautiful..."

A Community of Artists
WOW! began in 2009 as a group of artists who wanted to start painting together. Though this art guild has gradually added and lost members over time, our mission is the same today:

to provide a friendly place where watercolor artists at all levels can nurture their passion for art and develop their self-expression and professional lives as artists.
WOW! continues to be a group of artist friends who paint together both in person and on Zoom. Members provide advice, instruction, gentle critiques, support and comaraderie to one another.

WOW! Group Painting Session at the Tualatin Heritage Center
WOW! members paint in many styles and at many levels of experience. We are excited to share our love of watercolor with our fellow artists. We offer opportunities to paint together through Group Painting Sessions (GPSs), paint outs, and other social and artistic activities. These learning and teaching opportunities allow our artists to develop and advance their own personal technical skills, creativity, and style.

Our artists range from emerging to award winning, some regionally and some nationally recognized for their work. We encourage our members' participation in other artistic organizations and in local and regional shows. Some are members of Keizer Arts and Watercolor Society of Oregon. Our artists show their work in art shows, libraries, and galleries.
